Over the years, together with our community, the Cancer Golf Tournament has raised $536,434 to help fight cancer. We are very proud of this accomplishment! Our mandate is to continue to raise funds for cancer and this year all proceeds will be donated to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation to help improve cancer care in our community – We are “Keeping it Local”.

  
Cancer touches everyone. Cancer fractures the lives of families, creates financial burdens, interrupts work and home schedules and taxes families emotionally.  Quality cancer care close to home can help alleviate these hardships. That is why this year’s proceeds will go to our local community hospital for the purchase of Laparoscopic Surgical Equipment. This equipment will be used for ‘minimally invasive surgeries’; increasing our local hospitals’ capacity to perform more ‘Cancer Related’ procedures. Our hope and goal is that fewer patients will need to travel to London to have these surgeries.
